Education & Background

Jake played NCAA Division II basketball at Harding University, where he developed the discipline and competitive drive that shape his approach to litigation. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration before earning his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

His commitment to service extends beyond his practice, including work representing minors as a guardian ad litem in injury cases—experience that deepened his dedication to protecting the most vulnerable.

Outside the Office

Jake is a native of Dallas and lives with his wife. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys weight training, international travel, listening to books on Audible while walking his dogs, and spending time with his family. An Eagle Scout, he values service, discipline, and leadership.
